We recently announced a new 25 Mbps Business ADSL service that we are offering throughout BC and Alberta. One of our customers on Annacis Island in Delta B.C. requested an upgrade of their existing ADSL connection to the new 25 Mbps service. As outlined by Wes in an earlier post our engineers are able to log into your ADSL router to optimize each of our our ADSL installations, ensuring the best possible performance. In this case the client was actually able to achieve 26.8 Mbps Downstream and 7.1 Mbps Up! Great performance for only $139 per month.
Our customer also has a branch office in Edmonton, and both locations are connected using Skyway’s MetaLAN Private Network Service, which has many of the features of a traditional MPLS network. The company servers are located in the Delta Head Office, so the added Upstream bandwidth gives the remote users in Edmonton an even faster connection.

Update, April 1, 2013: Since writing this another of our Delta customers is achieving 78 Mbps Downstream and 15 Mbps Up because Telus has been unable to rate limit.
